First-year player Henderson has tallied five scores during the current campaign

New England equaled their top unbeaten stretch since the Tom Brady period as they defeated AFC East rivals the New York Jets by 13 points in professional football

First-year standout Henderson led the way with three touchdowns as the Patriots claimed an eight-game winning streak for the first time since legendary quarterback Tom Brady's last year with the team in 2019

Quarterback Maye accumulated 281 yards and a TD, completing 25 out of 34 attempts

The triumph increases the New England's lead at the top of the division as they advanced to nine victories against two losses, with the New York bottom after dropping to a 2-8 mark

The visitors had scored first at their home field with quarterback Justin Fields rushing for a five-yard TD to cap the New York's opening drive

But the New England answered in the second quarter as Henderson scored two seven-yard TDs before the running back caught a pass from Maye at the rear of the end zone in the middle of the third quarter to make it 21 to 7

"It was a key occasion for him delivering, and it's been fantastic for him to keep gaining experience," the quarterback commented on Henderson. "He desires to be outstanding."

Justin Fields threw to John Metchie in the latter part of the third quarter to reduce the lead for the Jets but Andy Borregales kicked a two field goals in the final period as the Patriots wrapped up the win
