The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary First Look

The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant film onslaught in 2026, starting with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Within the project, the artist portrays what she calls as a twisted version of her own persona.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever seen, the star commented.

She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept came from the expectation to produce one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The debut trailer, unveiled on recently, mixes real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.

The Moment is overseen and co-authored by the director, who explained that the narrative revolves around a world where Charli opted for alternate decisions throughout the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Packed Acting Schedule

The mockumentary is only one of several forthcoming film appearances for the star, who has featured in three festival films recently.

What’s Next

Next year will also include the star alongside Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in creative industry mystery The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in scary reboot Faces of Death.

She also signed on to appear in the star’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

I am really enjoying my foray into acting, she shared. I’m highly enthusiastic currently in this area, and I always aim to pursue roles that stimulate me.

Soundtrack Involvement

The month of February will also see the release of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from Charli.

She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released soon.

The mockumentary is scheduled to debut on January 30.
