The Simpsons Arrives in Psyonix's Hit Game: But It's Not the Vehicle Fans Are Hoping For

It was previously announced that the iconic animated series was teaming up with Fortnite, but this isn't the sole place where enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the universe of Springfield. The long-running series is coming over to the popular soccer-driving hybrid, introducing an vehicle customization option that will also be compatible in Fortnite. However, whether players will actually want to use it is a different matter, as there's only one Simpsons car everyone is itching to drive, and this isn't it.

What Fans Really Want

While many players would undoubtedly love to face off while driving Homer's custom creation—the notoriously impractical automobile the patriarch built personally in the 1991 installment "the one where he meets Herb"—regrettably, that isn't what players are receiving. We aren't even receiving the massive SUV, the heavy-duty truck showcased in season 10. Rather, fans are getting the Simpsons' everyday well-worn four-door, which has been in the family since the show's early days. Even though this particular car has accumulated plenty of miles, it stands as an recognizable element of the show. And for players who analyze Rocket League car hitboxes, the Simpson family car uses the same hitbox as the Dominus.
